Binge Watching

Haven't blogged in a while, so I figured it's a good time to post something about my own personal life. Lately, I've been watching a lot of shows. I am trying to alternate between Japanese, Chinese, and Korean shows so that my language skills stop deteriorating from lack of use. While I'm only two shows in, it's been a fun experience so far.

So I've decided to start a section in my blog where I review the shows I watch. You can find a complete list of these review posts under my Reviews & Guides label. In addition, I also made a YouTube playlist of my favorite songs from the shows that I watch.

The posts will be in the following format:
  1. Title
  2. # of episodes
  3. Length per episode
  4. Recommended? - Yes / No
  5. Tear rating - Amount of times cried
  6. Favorite songs
  7. Comments


On a side note, look out for more game development related things sometime next week! (Hopefully)

Yesterday, I received an incredibly friendly email from an anonymous person who claimed to have read my blog and "loved it." Of course, because my blog is public and anybody can comment anonymously, I was a bit skeptical of this email. Making a Board Game

Wanted to update my blog with what I've been up to recently. I made a board game and have been working on that full time for the past 3 or so months. The name is still WIP but it's tentatively set as "Our Modern Lives." It's a tile/card based map-building game. The goal is to achieve "Success" and "Happiness" before anyone else can by building your own route. Left Turns and MoMath

The LED floor puzzle. I went to the Museum of Math the other day. It was a recent addition to the dozens of museums already in existence in NYC, but being a sucker for hands-on museums, I couldn't let this one pass by. While a relatively new museum (opened this December), it still garnered a rather large crowd on Christmas Day. The museum's two floors were packed with mostly parents and their kids. Sometimes it was a bit cramped due to overcrowding and I had to wait for my turn on certain exhibitions numerous times. Overall a pretty negative experience space-wise. Otherwise, it was a pretty decent museum. I'd wait  a bit so they can learn how to deal with large crowds. Many of their attractions were broken when I visited, thus subtracting from the ideal experience. If you're interested, you should definitely stop by, it's worth one visit at least. On a side note, I hope to be blogging more this Winter, so be on the look-out for more posts!
